Sale of property
ÚZSVM transfers tens of thousands of property items every year.
As to the real estate property, 79,2 % of the transfers are gratuitous transfers of real-estate property to specialized state bodies (roads, forests, etc.) and to local authorities. About 20.8 % of real estate is sold, mostly in public tenders on unneeded property published among others also on the website of the ÚZSVM.
There are no restrictions for foreigners participating in a public tender for the sale of state property. Foreign bidders have to meet the same criteria as Czech nationals. However, all offers and related documents (Auction notice, Purchase contract, etc.) are published only in Czech language.
